A detail of this painting. To give you an impression of the texture of several layers of tempera. I really like this kind of ‘blending’ that can’t be created on purpose. Suddenly it’s there. And it can be gone by the following session, because I never hold on to something that’s ‘beautiful’ or what so ever. That’s not the way I work!
